Rakil studied the concrete under his feet. He had seen some already, and understood what it was, but he had never seen it in such quantity. He sniffed the ground, and sneezed. Everything seemed covered in dust here. His eyes sought the structures, no longer far away. "They're so big..." He said for the umpteenth time. He looked at Cassius. "I need to thank you for taking me with you. I've always wanted to see this, and now I can." I inhaled deeply, "What's that smell? It's like wolf, but different." Rakil sniffed again. "So, what do you plan to do now? We've made it this far. What else is there, when we are done here?" He dropped his head in shame. "Sorry, I'll shut up." He laid down, head on paws, "I wonder what mom and dad are doing." He closed his eyes, waiting for Cassius to take the lead, again.

Looking around warily, Cassius sniffed the air. It was permeated throughout with the smell of decay and suffering. Cassius's fur was standing on end. "Rakil, I don't think this is the best place to be. Let's just take a quick look, and get out of here. This place puts me on edge." Inching his way around the buildings, Cassius's gaze flitted around. Something caught his eye, it was a large rectangle that had stuff on it. It looked like "Larsen's Biscuits" whatever that was. Cassius shook his head, he didn't like this at all. A whiff of wolf hit his nostrils. Cassius paused in his tracks. 'No,' he thought to himself, 'That's tainted wolf. I've heard of the mixed breeds.' Glancing back at Rakil, he spoke, "Be very careful Rakil. This place is not safe." Cassius's interest was piqued, however, he wanted to find this mixed breed. He set off in the direction of the scent.

Rakil understood Cassius sentiments. Something foul was in the air. He followed Cassius, being sure to stay close. "What is this? I was told this was a good place." Rakil missed his safe home. He felt terribly out of place. Rakil wanted to get out of there, quickly. He sniffed the air. "That stench is foul! Cassius?" Rakil sped up realizing he had fallen behind. "Cassius, what is it?" Rakil stepped in front of Cassius. "I think we should leave. Something isn't right about this place."
